Nomination Night 2019
Community leaders nominating speakers for the 2020 season, with an art show made for the year's themes.
About this event
A private gathering of community leaders from across Northeast Ohio's arts and entrepreneurial scene to nominate speakers for the 2020 season. By 2019, more than half of each year's speakers had been introduced through Nomination Night. Ohio City Incorporated co-hosted, with cocktails from Watershed Distillery, food from Southern Sweets and music by Long Division Creative.
Twelve artists made work for the 2020 themes: Roots, Invest, Identity, Purpose, Nature, Insecure, Underdog, Stress, Spectrum, Transit, Radical and Biophilia. Trisha Previte, Nicolette Capuano, Kevin Inthavong, Eva Volf, Asia Armour, Dana Oldfather, Lena Atomika, Erin Guido, Hilary D. Gent, Isaiah Starbeing Williams, Matt Moore and Dante Rodriguez showed work, and sales were split 50/50 with each artist.
