Bindlewood

Bindlewood is the studio and shop of married artists Chris Ryniak and Amanda Louise Spayd, offering original designs by both. Ryniak is a painter, sculptor and toy designer whose work has been shown in galleries and museums around the world and whose designer art toys and figures have sold out in limited editions. Spayd makes mixed-media fabric creatures that draw on antique domestic objects and the natural world; collectors seek them out worldwide, and she has exhibited across the United States, Europe and Japan.

Bindlewood sells hand-painted and unpainted figures, plush, art prints, coloring and artist books, stickers, apparel and accessories online. Its gallery in the historic Screw Factory building in Lakewood, Ohio, carries Bindlewood goods, gallery-only pieces and a vintage corner, and opens for the Screw Factory's art markets through the year.
