Ohio Deal Portal

Ohio Deal Portal is a newsletter and research platform covering who is building what in Ohio's startup community. Pauly Suchy publishes it on Substack, and it launched in January 2025. Its writers are operators and founders, and it sits down with the people building Ohio's most interesting companies to report what the press release leaves out.

Subscribers get a monthly Deal Brief on what Ohio companies launched, landed, signed and shipped, plus founder interviews, deep dives and an annual review. Companies can pitch to be covered, and coverage is never paid for. Ohio Deal Portal also offers research access to funds, corporates and family offices, and it launched Exiteer, which turns startups' stuck problems into bounties matched with experts. It is an editorial platform, not an investment adviser or broker.
