Alexa Brown

Alexa Brown is a cacao ceremonialist in Cleveland who calls herself an opener of hearts. She hosts public cacao ceremonies in Cleveland and online, 90-minute one-on-one Heart Sessions in Lakewood, and private ceremonies for birthdays, goodbyes and teams, pairing ceremonial-grade cacao with guided meditation and a sound journey. She worked one-on-one with a cacao mentor for years before leading ceremonies herself.

She has written two books: Livin' the Dream Today Because Tomorrow Is Not Promised, built on the life lessons of her late father, and Your Permission Slip, part memoir and part self-help, on self-acceptance, forgiveness and letting go. She hosts the podcast me/you/us/we, solo reflections and conversations with friends and creatives, Tori Kurtz among them, and writes the newsletter Pages of the Heart. She designed her own brand and website.
